Job Type: Full-Time Hours: Mon-Friday 6:30AM-5:00PM Pay Rate: $18.00 Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Grinding Machine Operator to safely and efficiently set up, operate, and monitor grinding machines. The ideal candidate will ensure production meets quality standards, customer specifications, and company guidelines, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate grinding machines according to customer specifications, engineering prints, and internal production documentation.
• Verify tooling and part specifications before production to ensure accuracy and quality compliance.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Maintain production efficiency while adhering to safety and quality expectations.
• Follow all safety rules, procedures, and training requirements at all times.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Promptly report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

 Requirements:

• 1+ year of machine shop or manufacturing experience; equivalent training or experience may be considered.
• Ability to read and interpret production instructions, blueprints, and work orders.
• Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and walk/stand for up to 3.5 hours at a time, totaling 7.5 hours per shift.
• Familiarity with machine shop equipment such as lathes, mills, bench drills, and grinders.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safe hand tool usage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to following safety rules and company policies.
