Express Employment of Covina, CA is seeking a Shop Helper for our client located in Pomona.  Shop helper: $18.00-20hr DOE
Shift Hours: Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM

  The Role you will play:

• Review operating instructions and specifications to determine machining sequence.
• Read and interpret manufacturing paperwork to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Performing basic repairs as needed
• Operating devices and machinery
• Welding when needed and assisting manufacturing facility.
• Using Grinding tools
• Abide by all safety standards and report any safety or maintenance concerns to management
• Strive to meet quotas without compromising quality.

 Background Profile: 

• 1yr of experience
• Welding - MIG, Stick, Aluminum, and Metal 
• Ability to read mechanical drawings
• Machine shop experience preferred
• Strong shop math skills including the ability to perform measurement conversion.
