Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for maintaining the efficient flow of materials, kits, supplies, and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. This position supports production operations by transferring materials, monitoring inventory, resolving shortages, and assisting with shipping and receiving activities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Transfer materials, completed assemblies, and inventory between departments and work areas
• Maintain bench stock and support inventory control processes
• Locate materials and expedite part shortages to keep production moving efficiently
• Verify and maintain stock documentation and shortage reports
• Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks, hand trucks, skids, and other warehouse equipment
• Utilize computer systems to record and maintain accurate material transactions
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed
• Support team operations and provide guidance to other material handlers when appropriate
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse, stockroom, receiving, or material handling experience
• Basic computer proficiency
• Strong reading, writing, and math skills
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
• Previous manufacturing environment experience is a plus
