Political Canvasser – Temporary October ProjectLocation: Sacramento / Rancho Cordova, CA
Pay: $25.00/hour
Duration: Temporary project throughout October
Work Environment: Field-based / OutdoorExpress Employment Professionals is seeking dependable, outgoing Political Canvassers for a temporary project supporting upcoming political campaigns throughout the Sacramento and Rancho Cordova area.This position will involve traveling to assigned neighborhoods, walking door-to-door, speaking with residents, and distributing campaign information and flyers. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with people, are comfortable being on their feet, and have previous canvassing, outreach, customer service, or campaign experience.Responsibilities

• Canvass assigned neighborhoods and residential areas
• Knock on doors and engage residents in professional, respectful conversations
• Share campaign-provided information and materials
• Distribute flyers and other approved campaign literature
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, and campaign messaging
• Track or report canvassing activity as directed
• Represent the campaign professionally when interacting with the public

Requirements

• Comfortable approaching and speaking with residents door-to-door
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Willing and able to work outdoors and travel between assigned neighborhoods
• Reliable personal vehicle and transportation required
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous political campaign canvassing, community outreach, door-to-door, sales, or other canvassing experience is a plus

ScheduleThis is a temporary October project. Hours and schedules may vary based on campaign needs and assigned canvassing areas.Compensation$25.00 per hourIf you have previous political campaign experience—or experience with other types of canvassing, community outreach, door-to-door sales, or public engagement—this project could be a great fit.
