Skilled Construction Worker Location: Elk Grove / South Sacramento, CA
Pay: $30.00/hour + DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–6:30 PM

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a versatile and experienced Skilled Construction Worker for the Elk Grove/South Sacramento area. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience across multiple trades, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and drywall.
This role is a great fit for someone who is comfortable working independently, solving problems in the field, and handling a variety of construction and renovation projects.
What You'll Do

• Perform general construction, repair, and renovation work
• Complete electrical and plumbing installation, maintenance, and repairs
• Perform carpentry work including framing, cabinets, doors, windows, and trim
• Install, repair, tape, and finish drywall
• Prepare and paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
• Troubleshoot and resolve construction and repair issues
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install various construction materials
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
• Read and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications
• Follow OSHA and jobsite safety requirements
• Work with supervisors and other team members to complete projects safely and on schedule

What We're Looking For

• Proven hands-on construction experience
• Strong skills in multiple trades, particularly electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and drywall
• Knowledge of construction methods, codes, and safety practices
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical information
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Safety-conscious and dependable
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding work
