Maintenance Technician - Apartment Community

Location: Lincoln, CA
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (DOE)

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of a well-maintained apartment community in Lincoln, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience performing general apartment maintenance, troubleshooting repairs, and delivering excellent customer service to residents. Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests in occupied and vacant apartments
• Perform basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, and drains
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and minor electrical repairs
• Repair and replace appliances, fixtures, and hardware
• Perform carpentry, painting, drywall, and flooring repairs
• Maintain common areas, grounds, and community facilities
• Prepare vacant units for new residents (make-readies/turns)
• Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or general maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Preferred Qualifications

• Apartment maintenance experience
• HVAC certification or EPA certification
• Experience with property management maintenance systems
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb stairs for extended periods
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
