Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable and hardworking Bobtail Drivers and Delivery Helpers for a logistics and relocation company in the Sacramento area. Location: McClellan Park, CA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday (occasional overtime as needed)
Pay: $17.00 – $24.00 per hour DOE

Position OverviewThe Bobtail Driver / Delivery Helper is responsible for delivering products and materials safely and efficiently to customer locations throughout the Sacramento region. This position involves loading and unloading trucks, maintaining accurate delivery records, and providing exceptional customer service at every stop.
Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a bobtail truck and make deliveries throughout the Sacramento area
• Load, unload, and secure products, materials, and equipment for transport
• Assist with moving, relocation, and delivery projects as assigned
• Verify delivery paperwork and maintain accurate activity logs
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
• Maintain inventory counts and confirm delivered items match documentation
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries
• Work closely with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
• Follow all DOT, company safety, and transportation guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous delivery driving, moving, logistics, warehouse, or customer service experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean DMV record required
• Ability to pass background screening
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items throughout the workday
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded
• Knowledge of the Sacramento area is a plus
• Experience operating bobtail trucks or commercial delivery vehicles is preferred
