Express Employment of Covina, CA is seeking a Facility Technician for our client located in Monrovia, CA. 
Facility Technician – $22/HRShift Hours: Mon-Friday 8:00 AM- 4:30PM 
A local company in Monrovia, CA is searching for a Facility Technician who will help with various projects. You will spend most days in a climate-controlled environment.
Job Highlights:

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment 
• Handle minor repairs such as painting, carpentry, and troubleshooting equipment issues 
• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery and facility equipment 
• Monitor temperature- and humidity-sensitive equipment 
• Follow safety procedures and assist with safety inspections 
• Handle and coordinate disposal of hazardous and biohazardous waste safely 
• Assist with inventory, supplies, and equipment management 
• Respond to facility emergencies and support after-hours needs when required 
• Move materials, furniture, lab supplies, and assist with room setups or relocations

What we look for:

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems maintenance and repair.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on facility equipment.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and regulations, including hazardous and biohazardous waste handling.
• Ability to monitor and maintain temperature- and humidity-sensitive equipment and environments.
• Experience with general building maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, and minor repairs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively to facility emergencies.
• Ability to lift, move, and transport materials, furniture, equipment, and supplies.
