Class C Delivery Driver (Class B a Plus)
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver for a wholesale grocery distribution company in South Sacramento. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone with recent delivery driving experience who is comfortable operating a 26-foot box truck and making deliveries throughout the Bay Area.
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: South Sacramento, CA
Pay: $20-$24
Overtime available as needed
Position OverviewThe Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely transporting grocery products to customers throughout the Bay Area while ensuring timely deliveries, accurate paperwork, and professional customer service. This role includes loading and unloading product, verifying deliveries, and maintaining DOT compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-foot box truck for scheduled deliveries
• Deliver wholesale grocery products throughout the Bay Area
• Load and unload products at warehouse and delivery locations
• Verify orders and delivery paperwork for accuracy
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicle
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries
• Assist warehouse team as needed between routes
• Work overtime when business demands require additional hours

Qualifications

• Recent experience driving a box truck required
• Valid Class C driver’s license required
• Class B license is a plus
• Current DOT Medical Card required
• Clean driving record required
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy products throughout the shift
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently
• Comfortable working early morning shifts
